Bad blogger bad choices bad all aroun

So I will start by saying I am a bad blogger I started this to keep me more accountable but fell off. Maybe I should schedule time on my calendar in order to make time for things, maybe... My biggest thing for turning 30 was to be at a healthy, happy, suitable weight. I hit 30 and wasnt their so whats someone to do... I took it as I have no self control and NO im not being harsh its a reality. I need to reevaluate where in life I would like to be. I no longer fit in my jeans which is not good because all of the bigger jeans were given away. So its Monday and for me its the day I start a new healthy approach every week. No joke Monday is the day I start over because the weekends get the best of me so I have to come up with a new approach. Saying "NO" is going to pertinent because if not my waistline will be expanding which is not a good look. So Monday and the rest of my journey please be good to me also will be updating with my challenges, heart ache, happiness.

Bad Writer

It has been a week since I updated the blog. My only excuse was it was a hectic week starting with the holiday weekend. That was my down fall the weekend when bad eating begins however I did have high hopes it wouldnt go south it did. First for the Labor Day weekend I watched the UFC fight ate wings and drank apple cider ale which when I start I drink a good amount. Second we went to the lake and I had fast food (yuck). My sister left to Japan last week as well sigh tear tear (Hope your having the time of your life). Lastly to end the week we went on our final camping expendenture of the summer which surprisingly with the week I only gained 2lbs so starting on Monday  I was back at the healthy wagon. My life seems to always be in diet mode for some reason in reality its not a diet its just how I should normally eat. My birthday is in less than thirty days which is ths super motivator to lose these last 10-15lbs whichever number comes first.

Enough rambling on to more important topics the holidays are soon to be upon what shall I ever do to keep the midsection in good working order???? I am going to commit to actually being at the gym no less than 4 days a week. I am good about it for a week fall off for 3-4 days and so forth but my mini goals are going to be set forth.

1. Gym no less than 4 days
2. Waking 4 days at night
3. No real shopping till Jan.
4. Budget accordingly
5. Take more instagram photos
6. Blog 3-4 times a week learn to add photos as well.

Breaking up with the scale

Its FRIDAY heyyyyyyyy!!!!!! Today is weigh in measurmet day for me I move it to this day because I know the weekend is coming and I would like to indulge a little. I was stocked for this one because I upped my workouts had no cheats not even a little. Slap in the face came in the form of the scale telling me I had gained 2LBS since last week. I was appaled really wanted to throw the damn thing out the window. I measure myself as well so that I can keep track of how my body is changing in which this week I had a win I lost .75 in the waist and .5 in the neck. I do see progress coming my thighs are gaining little by little do to my running/walking that I do not mad at all. The second win came when I wanted to wear my new green cargo pants from Nordstrom I had bought them awhile ago in a juniors size 13. I was slightly nervous thinking I may need to wear a fat sucker so I dont have muffin top spillage to my surprise I had to wear a belt with them because they were loose. So screw you scale progress is coming but on my terms. I usually woul have binged on a venti coffee and cookies not today. So to all you in the struggle dont measure wins just by the scale and dont bound yourself to it. I used to look everyday but now I am once a week. I will keep my same routine and try to get advice as to why I am not winning in the numbers dept. 

On another note its Happy Hour Friday!!! Cant wait to see the girls later for margaritas, habanero guacomole, and chicken taquitos. Hope everyone has a fab weekend!!!

Day 8 inspiration

I am on day 8 of the #bodybyvichallenge and it seems to be going well. I have taken a set of photos to compare once I reach day 90. Peirodically I have been taking photos to document how far I have come because pictures say it all the scale is only their to help out. So again I do two shakes and one meal along with two snacks through out the day. I also only drink water and add unsweetend almond milk to my shakes. I also work out 5-6 days a week for one hour. This past week I have been working out twice a day once in the AM (5AM to be exact) and now I have started in the evening (7PM). Back in January I began walking as a way to excercise on a dime didnt want to commit to a gym. It also was a stress reliever because I walk with one of my cousins and we would give daily advice on everything to eachother. As I am approaching 30 in a little over a month I needed to step up my workouts at the gym so I had cut out the morning walk and extended time at the gym. Since I love my cousin so much she told me walking by herself sucked so I said when do you walk and she said at night so I had a light bulb go off lets add another workout in. So on Monday I purchased http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=18046766 to add in time with the kids and a walk. I have to say the jogging stroller is amazin very easy to maneuver best part the fold down just pull up on the middle of the seat and its folded. I could do it with one hand if I tried.

I take daily pictures of myself, something I am eating, random things to remind me what day I am on and to motivate. I try to find little inspirations in everything so that I know their is a purpose in trying hard. I am what you would call a quick person if I dont see results right away I stop doing it. This is a push to myself to follow through stick with the program. So I hope I gave you a good idea of things. Day 7

I have now been on the #bodybyvichallenge for seven days. It has been pretty straight forward with two shakes a day and one meal along with two snacks. I have the shakes for breakfast and dinner they are really tasty the batter smells/tastes like confettin cake mix. I plan to do the whole 90 to lose the last 13# which have hung on since my first son. I am down 2.4lbs since I started weighins are on Fridays right before the weekend. I take a daily photo so that I have accountability of where my journey is going.
